Dominant Male:
The dominant male leads the entire pride, eats first, marks his/their territory, and chooses the lionesses he wants to breed with, then lets his subordinate males fight over the remaining lioness(es)Subordinate Male:
This/these male/males are the second lion(s) in charge, eat second, mark his/their territory along with the dominant male, and breeds with the remaining lionessesLionesses:
The lionesses are the future and backbone of the pride, hunt for the pride, eat after the males, and raise their cubsAdolescents:
These are the lions or lionesses that are 1 to 1 year and 11 months old, they train to become better at hunting, go with the lionesses to hunt once and a while, although they don't help very often. They eat after the lionesses of the pride. If a male adolescent turns 2 years old, they are chased out of the pride by the dominant male and subordinate males, while the females can stay in the pride for the rest of their lives unless told otherwise or chased out as well Cubs:
These are lions 0 months to 11 months old, they nurse until they are a few months old, until they are introduced into the pride, and soon after begin to eat meat with the rest of the pride. They eat last, after the adolescents, play, rough house with their siblings, and don't do much else besides that
